This Aberystwyth University 150th Anniversary Event on “Valuing Nature for Economic Growth, Well-being, and Happiness” explored four different perspectives on valuing nature (from economics to Buddhist philosophy) that could help us address the biodiversity crisis and create a more harmonious relationship with the natural world. The event comprised four short presentations from our world-leading value experts and practioners, followed by a 30-minute panel discussion hosted by the former First Minister of Wales Carwyn Jones.
