The Rural Futures Hub hosted their annual conference in Ty Trafod on the 18th April 2024. The conference highlighted the wide range of rural research projects which have been funded by Aberystwyth Universities Rural Futures Hub. A diverse range of interdisciplinary presentations highlighted the many rural topics currently being researched at Aberystwyth University.

Topics included:

Improving road safety in rural areas: An examination of human factors contribution to traffic safety climate. Dr Burcu Tekes Tolunguc and Prof Charles Musselwhite

The production of a simple lab-based protocol to measure ammonia emissions from livestock slurry. Dr Natalie Meades and Dr Kenton Hart
