Welcome to the 51st Annual International Conference on the Biology of the Myxobacteria, where researchers from around the world gather to share discoveries, present cutting-edge work, and deepen our collective understanding of myxobacteria. This year the conference will be hosted at Aberystwyth University.

- £355 total or £255 without accommodation and breakfast
Early Career Researchers / Student Registration Fees
- £210 total or £110 without accommodation and breakfast
- £200/£100 if the ECR/student travels by train

Aberystwyth University is one of the oldest universities in the UK, founded in 1872 and known for its strong research culture, welcoming community, and beautiful coastal setting.
The campus sits on the hillside overlooking Cardigan Bay, offering scenic views and easy access to the town’s beaches, historic seafront, and vibrant cultural life.
Accommodation
The accommodation we will be providing is Penbryn, conveniently located right next to the conference venue.

Travel
The most convenient airport for international travellers is Birmingham International Airport, which has its own railway station. From there, visitors can take a train to Birmingham New Street and then a direct train to Aberystwyth, with the journey taking a little over three hours.
A helpful app for planning and booking UK train journeys is Trainline, which allows users to view timetables, compare routes, and purchase tickets in advance.
Food
All meals will be included from dinner on Monday to breakfast on Thursday on the campus.
